Leading mortgage broker Loan Market has reported a record month for home loan approvals and settlements in Victoria due to continuing strong demand for units and houses in Melbourne’s inner suburbs. Interest Rate Hikes Deter Borrowers

The succession of interest rate rises implemented by the Reserve Bank of Australia has been the biggest recent deterrent to borrowers, a national survey has found.
